From Vision to Impact: How Communities Build and Sustain Effective Treatment Models, taking place on June 18, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Shelby County Municipal Building (19220 US‑280, Birmingham, AL 35252). This training expands on one of the most well‑attended breakout sessions from the Alabama Juvenile Justice Summit and offers a deeper dive into what it truly takes to design, implement, and sustain a successful juvenile justice Day Program. Participants will hear from David Gray, Executive Director of the St. Clair County Day Program, alongside other community leaders who have translated vision into impact through collaborative, community‑based approaches. The agenda will also include a focused discussion on funding and sustainability led by Monica Roland, as well as a panel conversation featuring Day Program leaders from across Alabama who will share lessons learned, challenges, and strategies for long‑term success.
