Certified Therapist for Adolescents with Problematic Sexual Behavior – (CTAPSB)- 2024
In this training event, practitioners will partner with researchers and attorneys to cover a vast array of topics, including psychoeducational and treatment groups, utilization of needs assessment instruments, family involvement, treatment planning, and federal and state laws guiding treatment practices with this population.

Training Requirements:
Master’s degree or above required. Licensed or license-eligible for Independent Practice in Alabama (or supervised by someone who already works with this population). All applicants must register for approval, as seats are limited.
Objectives:
- Identify misconceptions with PSB/ISB in youth.
- Understand the uniqueness of juvenile court.
- Discuss normal vs. problematic sexual development.
- Understand best practices for family engagement.
- Highlight aspects of a good needs assessment.
- Discuss how trauma can affect clients with PSB.
